Paula Mott Joins the River Oak Risk Team

Douglas MacGinnitie and Kimberly Bunting are pleased to announce that Paula Mott has recently joined River Oak Risk as a Managing Director.

Doug MacGinnitie, Chief Executive Officer stated “Paula has significant experience in the insurance and financial services industries and will be a great asset to River Oak Risk. We are expanding our captive management services and solutions in the Southwest, particularly Texas, and Paula will be an integral part to our expansion. We are very excited to work with Paula.”

Mott has been a trusted advisor to high net worth individuals in the areas of wealth management and risk management. Mott began assessing risk management needs while managing Family Offices both in the United States and overseas. In 2012, as a wealth advisor, she advised clients on risks in the market and potential exposures in their investment portfolios. Later in 2015 she moved into P &C insurance industry specializing in Personal and Commercial Lines for High Net Worth Individuals, addressing the needs of their businesses, as well as their personal asset protection.

Mott is a member of the Board of Directors of Houston PetSet, Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS), and the University of St. Thomas Performing Arts Society Board. She is also involved in The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary, The Houston Symphony League, and The Women’s Home. She is also a member of the Chaine de la Rotisseurs and Societe du Mondiale.

Mott received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Houston. She has studied, worked, and lived abroad, and is fluent in several languages including German and French.
